437 Love like God loves

Today I get a message from my Christian Brother, Greg Marlow.
This is from his message.
It is reminding us to love like GOD.
Not just because we should but ultimately because it is commanded to us.
GOD told us to love our enemy.
Guess he can use that to change their hearts.
I just want to trust GOD to work out the details.

437 Love like God loves

Good morning! 

I love ya and pray that God’s blessings on you today are over the top!! 

My thought and study today is about loving our enemies. 

You know that can be one of the hardest and trickiest things we as Christian’s have to overcome come. 

We don’t love like God loves, we love because of but He loves in spite of and that’s the difference. 

It can be so hard to wrap our head around that, we say we love the sinner but hate the sin but if we’re not careful we are just using that as an excuse to dislike or even hate the person connected to the sin and that’s where we can get into trouble. 

As the soldiers were nailing Jesus to the cross he was at that very moment asking for their forgiveness, (Father forgive them for they no not what they do). 

That is the definition of loving in spite of and not because of!

I pray that we can find that kind of love and through us becomes it infectious and continues to spread. 

It has to start somewhere, Lord let it be us!!!
